We are pleased to announce the official Call for Chapters for Volume 2 of the Encyclopedia of Higher Education. This volume focuses on Higher Education Governance and Institutional Management. This volume forms part of a 13-volume global reference project, led by Dr. Mustafa Kayyali, Editor-in-Chief and renowned scholar in higher education policy and internationalization.
We are a contributing partner to this ambitious academic project. We invite education leaders, policy scholars, and institutional researchers. They can submit chapters. The chapters should critically examine how universities are governed, managed, and transformed across different global contexts.
We live in an era marked by uncertainty, digital disruption, and shifting stakeholder demands. It is more urgent than ever to understand higher education governance. Internal management of these institutions is also crucial. This volume seeks to map out current debates and practices. It also proposes future-ready models for resilient and ethical academic leadership.

- Word count: 5,000–6,000 (APA 7th Edition)
- At least 80% of references from 2021 or later
- All chapters undergo double-blind peer review
- No submission or publication fees
